Wir machen eine Reise

Vicki and I are headed to Leavenworth, Washington, for the weekend. It's a Bavarian-themed "tourist trap" (according to a friend in Moses Lake) nestled in the eastern slope of the Cascade mountains. I imagine there's probably a sleigh ride planned, along with cruising the downtown shopping amid sub-freezing temperatures. http://www.leavenworth.com/ With Germanic heritage in both our families (including names like Hesse, Lehrer and Zweifel), we sort of dig the bavarian thing. Will see if I can figure out how to put up a couple pictures when we return.

Cheney defends Bill of Rights
